Direct to Deck Licensing Program

The Direct to Deck program originated in 2006, as a file sharing collaborative effort to strengthen industry data for manufactures of extruded polystyrene (XPS) and expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam market.

The Extruded Polystyrene Foam Association (XPSA) grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the use of the required research and data regarding the fire performance of polystyrene foam insulation in the direct-deck roof applications.

Direct to Deck licensing is in conjunction with the International Code Council - Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) and EPS Industry Alliance (EPS-IA) as an information sharing partnership, where the program originated in 2006. The program is available to companies and manufactures in the XPS and EPS foam market.
